Streamlined fleet washing for public agencies.

Car washes near your vehicles and mobile crews at your yards, with billing set up to match your departments. Cooperative contracts available.

Why agency wash programs fall apart.

Every department washes its own way, and purchasing and finance inherit all of it.

  • Too few places to wash

Vehicles have to trek across the service area to the one approved wash, so many drivers just skip it.

  • Too many vendors

Each department signs its own deal, with separate agreements, insurance certificates and invoices.

  • No record of what was washed

Statements don't show which vehicle was washed or when, so finance splits charges by hand and nobody can check the work.

  • A new bid for every change

When a wash closes or a department needs one closer, it can mean another solicitation.

Every department washes where it works.

Your drivers use car washes near their stations, yards and offices, and mobile crews come to the yard when you book them. Rynse enrolls every vehicle before day one.

  • Car washes near the work

Cars, pickups and patrol units use participating car washes close to where they operate. Where coverage is thin, we look for a local wash to add.

  • Mobile crews at your yard

Book a crew in the Rynse portal for refuse trucks, plows and equipment that won't fit a car wash. They're washed on site, on the schedule you set.

  • Changes without a new bid

When a wash closes or a department needs one closer, we find the replacement. It's our job, not a new solicitation.

Track every wash. Pay the way your agency works.

Every wash is tied to a vehicle, so finance doesn't split charges by hand and fleet can check the work.

Every wash tied to a vehicle

  • A record of every wash

See which vehicle was washed, where and when. Department heads can have a login that shows only their own vehicles.

  • Billing that matches your setup

Get one invoice, one invoice split by department, or a separate invoice for each department, each with a detailed transaction file. Pay by ACH, P-Card, check or credit card.

  • Only fleet vehicles get washed

Vehicles are verified by license plate, RFID tag or Rynse card, depending on the location. Spend limits per wash, day or month help catch washes that shouldn't happen.

Buy on a contract your agency can already use.

Eligible agencies can buy on a cooperative contract without running their own RFP. If your agency buys another way, we’ll work with your purchasing office.

A city that canceled its RFP and bought on Sourcewell.

The City of Fontana had one car wash for 375 vehicles across 43 square miles. When its contract ended, the city went to bid, then canceled the RFP and bought on Rynse’s Sourcewell contract.

Sourcewell is going to save a lot of time on everything, because I don’t have to go through formal bids. I can just renew annually with Rynse as my sole source.

  • 1 to 10+ wash locations

Spread across the city, along drivers’ routes.

  • Vehicles logged at the gate

Wash partners’ gates read plates or RFID tags, replacing a system that often missed vehicles.

  • Renews each year without a bid

The city renews on Sourcewell instead of going out to bid again.

Questions purchasing and fleet teams ask.

  • Do we have to put this out to bid?

Eligible agencies usually don’t. Rynse holds three cooperative contracts: Sourcewell, the North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association (NCSA) and the Virginia Sheriffs’ Association (VSA). All three are open to agencies nationwide. The competition already happened when each contract was awarded, so your agency can buy with a purchase order that references the contract number. Your purchasing office confirms eligibility. If you’d rather buy another way, we’ll work with your process.

  • Does using Sourcewell cost our agency anything?

No. Sourcewell is free for government and education agencies to join, with no obligation to buy. Many agencies are already registered, and your purchasing office can check. If yours isn’t, it can sign up online.

  • What do our drivers have to do differently?

Very little. Drivers pull into a participating car wash, and the vehicle is recognized by license plate, RFID tag or Rynse card, depending on the location. We give you a one-page guide for drivers that shows where they can wash.

License plate, RFID tag or card: how each works

  • What happens if a wash isn’t done right?

Tell your Rynse team. Every wash is recorded by vehicle, date and location, so the details are on hand. We follow up with the wash partner, so your staff doesn’t have to manage vendors.

  • How do we stop washes on personal or retired vehicles?

Only vehicles on your fleet list can wash. With license plate recognition, the plate itself is the credential, so personal cars are turned away. Limits per wash, per day or per month are enforced at the wash, not weeks later on an invoice. When your fleet software is connected, vehicles you retire are removed automatically.

How license plate recognition prevents unauthorized washes

  • Can our unmarked vehicles stay undercover?

Yes. Unmarked Vehicle Mode hides undercover vehicles from wash providers and keeps identifying details out of their records. Your administrators still see the full wash history.

    How Unmarked Vehicle Mode works

  • Does wash data reach our fleet management software?

Yes, when your software is connected to Rynse. Each wash posts to the vehicle’s record, and your vehicle list stays in sync. If a direct connection isn’t available, a daily vehicle file can keep your list current.

  • What does Rynse cost?

Pricing is built for each fleet, along with the wash network we build for it. Reach out to Rynse for your custom wash network pricing
